“We Search, We Stumble”
We search for shape and comfort,
Wisdom and poise.
We choose a path and start our looking.
In the beginning,
We dive into the unknown,
Hoping to easily find what we’re after.
For most, there is no such luck:
Distractions delay our journeys,
And as we stay,
Our ability to achieve a goal moves further away.
Our search is a cycle,
But we are clueless for the most—
We re-walk on our filled in footprints,
Continuing to look at the wrong.
We search for truth.
We search, we stumble.
We fall and scar.
We must continue our search for glory…
Perseverance is what breaks our cycles.
